Steam beta

Valve je objavio beta verziju Steam-klienta. Ovaj puta su ispravljeni problemi koji se stvaraju pri registrovanju novog accaunta, zatim problemi pri instalaciji Steam-a, te Steam-Storea. Ispravljen je i problem koji pri Kicku iz Chata pokazuje pogresan username.
O instalaciji useri sami odlucuju, znaci mogu je iskljuciti u opcijama.
Ovaj puta ispravljeno:
• Updated retail install wizard to support upcoming releases (29.09.08)
• Fixed the storefront refreshing at times when it was not visible (29.09.08)
• Fixed a potential client crash on new account creation (29.09.08)
• Corrected text for bans and kicks in chat messages (29.09.08)
• Fix for connection timed out errors in multiplayer games on secure servers (30.09.08)
• Fix for the store page not showing up the first time you activate Steam if you have it load on startup (30.09.08)
• Fix for the retail installer splash image not falling back to the Steam logo correctly for installers without a custom splash (30.09.08)
• Fix hang when logging into Steam on another computer, when the main window is not visible on the first computer (02.10.08)
